SAME sponsors panel at IFMA’s World Workplace Conference

The annual International Facility Management Association’s (IFMA) World Workplace Conference and Expo was held Nov. 1, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. SAME sponsored the Military Services Panel of the conference which included topics such as Overview of the impacts of Air Force Civil Engineering Transformation, Asset Management, and Evolution of Joint Basing on Joint Base San Antonio Civil Engineering.”

About 6,000 attended the event which focused on the challenges and strategies applicable to facilities operations and maintenance.

The conference included educational sessions on a wide range of facility related topics from emerging technologies, research efforts, design and construction trends, real estate & property management, finance, operation and maintenance, food services, capital planning, energy, sustainability and environmental issues, and emergency fire and life safety.
