Chesapeake Post holds a raffle for scholarship fund

SAME Chesapeake Post held a meeting on Nov. 15, 2012, at the Wetlands Golf Club in Aberdeen, Md. to discuss the Baltimore District Fiscal Year 2013 Programs and to raise money for the SAME Chesapeake Post Scholarship Fund. 

The event featured Key Speaker Lt. Col. Brad Endres, USACE Acting District Commander, Baltimore District and presenter Tamika Gray USACE Deputy – Small Business, Baltimore District.

Lt. Col. Brad Endres was recognized by John Mettee III, President, SAME Chesapeake Post, for his outstanding work as the Baltimore Deputy District Engineer.

Attendees discussed the upcoming fiscal-year programs of the uniformed services and select federal agencies while participating in activities such as networking and raffle drawing. The raffle grand prize is a Twosome Wetlands Golf Club golf package. All raffle proceeds went to the SAME Chesapeake Post Scholarship Fund.
