Young Members host Chesapeake Post luncheon

On Feb 21, 2013, Chesapeake Post Young Members hosted a luncheon with the theme of USACE Role in the Chesapeake at the Wetlands Golf Club in Aberdeen, Maryland.

Amy Guise, Chief, Planning Division, USACE Baltimore District, served as the key speaker. Her presentation, Operations Division Overview Baltimore District, focused on USACE’s programs and commitments in the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay.

Attendees also included a guest from the Aberdeen Science Technology Engineering Math Academy.  The luncheon featured a networking break and a golf package raffle. Proceeds went to the SAME Chesapeake Post Scholarship and Education Outreach Fund. Go to Same-chesapeake.org to learn more about the Post including their scholarship program.
