On Oct. 1, 2013, SAME Orange County (OC) Post donated $5000 to the Navy Golf Course in Cypress, Calif. in support of the Navy Golf Course Wounded Warrior Golf Program. TheĀ 27-hole complex is the venue for the Post’s Annual Golf Tournament.

The contribution will be used to cover the food costs and other incidentals required for the participants of the Wounded Warrior Golf Program throughout the year. OC Post hopes the gift will help expand the Program throughout the Southern California region. Click here to see a PBS SoCal feature video of the Navy Golf Course Wounded Warrior Golf Program.

Our wounded warriors should be honored with programs like this and our Post is proud that we can help give back in some way,” said Jeff Davis, Golf Tournament Chairman, SAME Orange County Post.
