Attention aspiring TME authors!

TME—The Military Engineer is accepting article submissions for the March-April 2014 issue! The deadline to submit an article is coming up, so reach out today!

Main Theme:  Civil Infrastructure

This issue of TME will look at the work of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, other federal agencies and the private sector to improve the nation’s infrastructure, which the president has characterized as “aging” and “badly in need of repair.” The American Society of Civil Engineers’ 2013 Infrastructure Report Card graded our overall infrastructure, including bridges, highways, dams and levees, public utilities, ports and waterways, even parks and recreational spaces among other sectors, a D+, and estimated that $3.6 trillion is needed by 2020 to get it all to an acceptable level.
